Paralegal Cathy Koert

Cathy is the Paralegal and Case Manager of our firm. She has worked with Attorney Treiser since 2000. Cathy has extensive experience in the areas of auto accident and other civil litigation. As the Case Manager, Cathy handles all aspects of personal injury claims from start to finish: including client intake; communication with clients; review of medical records and billing; drafting demands and disbursement summaries; communication with the medical providers and insurance companies; drafting court pleadings and discovery; scheduling hearings and other court appearances, depositions and mediations. She has been a Florida Registered Paralegal for over ten years. 


Cathy grew up on a farm in Ohio. She moved to Naples in 2000. Cathy earned her Associates Degree in Office Information Technology from Marion Technical College in 1992. She then attended The University of Ohio in Columbus, Ohio. Her studies focused on business and accounting. While attending college, Cathy also worked at The Ohio State University Hospital. Outside of work Cathy enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenage children, Kirstin and Conner. The kids keep her and her husband quite busy with all of their athletic activities. Cathy’s husband, (another) Richard, owns and operates Collier Tire Auto and Truck Repair Center, a family owned and operated business here in Naples first established in 1970. As busy as they both are with their work life, Cathy and Richard make time to be hands-on parents, involved and taking pride in all of their kids’ competitive sports activities and accomplishments.
